Writing this on behalf of my mother: I went in here with my dog because I wanted to check out the new vet in Melissa. The receptionist was very hostile from the jump; I came in a bit early because I had a meeting coming up soon. I kindly asked if I could be seen a bit earlier in hopes of getting out in time to be on the call. The receptionist immediately responded in a harsh manner, saying “if you have a meeting, we won’t see him.” I didn’t mind doing the meeting in my car, so I decided to stay; it wasn’t that big of an issue. We go into the room, and my dog gets seen by the doctor—who was very kind, by the way—and went to the front to get our bill. The bill was $261. I realized that some of these medications are ones I have a home, so I asked if I could take a few things out. The receptionist responds, hostile once again, saying “you just want to come into the vet to be seen and not get anything??” I was confused on why she was so mean, but my meeting was coming up soon, so I said I would go in the car, do the meeting, and come back and pay. When I return, not too long after, the receptionist is once again disrespectful, saying I won’t be allowed to pay because the doctor was gone. It didn’t make sense because the bill was already sorted. I was fed up with her hostility, and asked her why she was being so mean for no reason, as I have never met her before and didn’t do anything to deserve this kind of treatment. I walked out without paying. I will never be returning here again; I don’t understand what the mean attitude was for, as again, I didn’t do anything to provoke this kind of behavior.

The ladies are so wonderful and kind here. I have a pittie and I have had some bad experiences prior to coming to Easy Vet. I love how he’s greeted and loved here.

This will definitely be our new Vet. We have a cat with a lot of attitude and has to have medication to calm her before her visits to the Dr. The staff and Dr Motley are amazing. They were so caring to her, and went out of their way to make her feel safe. So happy we have found such a great clinic for our Fur Baby.

3 weeks ago went for my pups year check up. Dr Motley is wonderful. I love the simplicity of this place. No added bells or whistles just straight to the point care. Today I returned for some maintenance vaccines and they were out of 3 of the 4. I would’ve appreciated a phone call since I drove from Sherman but they were very apologetic.

Great experience, all staff were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. The prices for services rendered were reasonable, and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. If you are looking for a vet, look no further. I have no doubt that Easyvet in Melissa, Texas, will satisfy all of your pets needs.
